Three days of events and displays at Lincoln Castle to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Air Force.
A full size replica Spitfire and a WWI bi-plane will take pride of place on the Castle lawns to make a unique sight reflecting the city's and county's connections with the RAF.
There's also a uniformed re-enactment of the crew of a Lancaster Bomber, tunes and songs from WWII, and other surprises too.
Three flypasts have been confirmed, subject to weather and aircraft serviceability:
- Friday 4th May, 11:15am: Lancaster;
- Saturday 5th May, 2:20pm: Hurricane and Spitfire;
- Sunday 6th May, 4:10pm: Dakota.
