Moorland Easter Egg Hunt

EVERY YEAR HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE GATHER TO CELEBRATE WHAT JESUS DID FOR US ON GOOD FRIDAY WITH A GRAND EASTER CELEBRATION ON BOULTHAM PARK.

In 2018 we plan to hold a free Easter Egg Hunt as part of our celebrations on Moorland. If you've been before you'll know the routine, but if not please read below.

This year we are partnering with:

Energize

Birchwood Big Local

The People's Health Trust

At 2pm on Friday the 30th of March hundreds of people will gather near the bandstand on Boultham Park to be addressed by Rev. Darren Edwards from Ignite Church who will outline the rules of the hunt and the games.

Children under 10 years old will be given a raffle ticket that they will need to hold onto. Around 10-15 children at a time will be called out to take part in an egg hunt among the trees on Boultham Park where there will be chocolate eggs and lactose free eggs scattered around.

Whilst this is happening our team will host loads of fun and silly races for all ages, including adults, to win a large Easter Egg.

The Egg Hunt and games are free.

You can also check out our Church website for other information about who we are. Each year people ask us if they can support the event, but we don't take any donations on the day. If you would like to support our missional outreach you can do so via out website though. Having said that we'd much rather meet for a coffee sometime.
