Something for everyone at Jubilee Park
Woodhall Spa’s Jubilee Park has a busy programme with events for all the family in spring and early summer.
The swimming and paddling pools – heated to 29°C- are open every day and this year there’s the option to book in advance online to avoid disappointment in hot weather when the park’s at its busiest. Anyone who hasn’t learnt to swim, whatever their age, can also book lessons. A full timetable appears in the park leaflet or online.
There are two annual sporting events in June- the 10k on 3rd June and the triathalon on 17th, In association with the famous Kinema in the Woods, on 8th June there’s the film 47 metres down and the iconic movie Jaws on 29th June- both followed by a late night swim for those who still dare!
For night owls the midsummer midnight swim this year falls on Saturday 23rd June- booking advised, while little ones can enjoy an Elves and Fairies day on Sunday 24th June.
The park’s renovated gardens, including the David Austen rose garden, make an ideal setting for a picnic or just to relax and the refurbished play area is there for youngsters.
In addition, the sporting clubs that share the park facilities have their own events and fixtures- more details appear on the park website www.jubileeparkwoodhallspa.co.uk and on facebook.
Jubilee Park is just a short stroll from the central woods, which are open to all, and the spa
resort’s many independent shops and restaurants. The Viking Way long distance footpath
passes through the village.
