It’s Panto time!
The New Theatre Royal Lincoln promises a pantomime adventure for all thes family this Christmas with Robin Hood, running from Tuesday 3rd December until Sunday 5th January.
Lincoln’s longest running traditional pantomime will once again be packed full of laughs, boos, audience participation, and famous faces including TV presenter Melinda Messenger as the Fairy Stardust. Whilst, after wowing audiences in last year’s pantomime, Blue Peter and Prank Patrol’s Barney Harwood returns, this time as the brave hero – Robin Hood.
CBBC’s Chris “Yonko” Johnson is back too as Will Scarlett. Chris has appeared in every Christmas and Easter pantomime at the New Theatre Royal since Cinderella in 2017, becoming a true favourite with families. Speaking about his return he said, “The thought of once again spending my festive season at the New Theatre Royal makes me a very merry man indeed! In fact, I’m all aquiver!”
Rounding up the star casting is Zoe Hedge as Maid Marian, who was part of Sir Tom Jones’ team onThe Voice UK (2017) as one half of the duo Capital B.
Under 2s go free to the pantomime and there’s a special relaxed performance on Saturday 7th December at 11am, perfect for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed performance environment – including those with an autism spectrum condition or learning disability.
