Visit the Natural World Centre & Whisby Nature Park as they host their new family festival next week!
Starting on Monday 7 August visitors to the Natural World Centre and Whisby Nature Park can take part in some great activities as part of their new Whisby Family Festival. From craft activities to astronomy talks, there will be a range of events taking place throughout the week with each day having a theme so you’re bound to find something for you!
Other activities include an evening bat walk, birds of prey encounter and pond dipping and animal handling. The Lincolnshire Vintage Vehicle Society will also be running a bus service onWednesday 9 August between the Nature Park and the Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum for FREE!

To finish off a great week there will be an Open Air Cinema on Saturday 12 August and will be showing the Jungle Book (2016). Gates open at 6.30pm for a Big Screen Craft Activity until7.30pm with the film screening at approximately 8pm. Concessions will be available including, cakes, confectionary and a licensed bar. Tickets cost £10 per adult and £7.50 per child. Family tickets cost only £30! (2 adults, 2 children). Price also includes a "burger meal" which give you the choice of beef, chicken, or vegetarian with chips.
