Imps in the Community
Here at Lincoln City Football Club we are very proud to have a strong community aspect to the organisation and over the past few years have supported a wide range of groups.
This work is delivered by Imps in the Community, a registered charity whose mission it is:
“To create and provide opportunities that inspires individuals and communities to improve their physical, social or mental wellbeing through active participation”
Within the community we are delivering a wide range of programmes that support schools, families, businesses and other organisations. It is important to us that we work with the local community to provide positive experiences and showcase that Lincoln City FC is not just about playing football. Throughout this article we will showcase some of these programmes and how you can get involved.
Are there any girls out there that want to get involved in playing football? Do you want to take part in girls only sessions?
Then why not come and join us here at Lincoln City Football Club on a Tuesday evening. This year we have introduced our Girls Development Centre as we want to encourage girls to get involved and potentially try the sport for the first time or have some extra training.
This is part of our ever expanding Women and Girls programme where we have a wide range of sessions that includes Walking Football and Soccercise (mums this could be for you), informal football so you can meet likeminded people and socialise at the same time all as part of the Lincoln City family. It is important to us that we cater for all different types of participants so hopefully we have something for you.
